Cleaning Tips, Carpet Cleaning and Cleaning Business Information
One of the busiest places is the office. But being busy doesn’t give you an excuse to be messy. Besides, do you think you could really get anything done in a cluttered environment?
Now, cleaning up your workspace isn’t limited to putting piles of paper to the side. It may look neater for now, but it doesn’t change the problem; your papers are still in a messy pile.
The solution: Get organized. Take note of the kinds of paperwork that you address (like “financial” or “medical”). Sort your papers according to those categories and neatly keep them in a file caddy. You’ll be surprised at how much of them are files that you no longer need. Get rid of those, but make sure to shred any papers that contain bank account numbers, personal information, etc.
After de-cluttering your desk, use a spray cleaner and wipe it with a soft cloth. Don’t leave out your computer keyboard, telephone and other surfaces that people frequently put their hands on. Those surfaces are a breeding ground for germs!
Lastly, don’t forget to empty your waste basket regularly. Keep the floor clean by sweeping it (vacuum it well if you have carpeting). By keeping your workspace clean, not only will you get work done faster, but also avoid spreading illnesses around the office.
