How to Clean a Dust

A dust particle comprises a microscopic dust mite. Dust mite can trigger allergic reactions like asthma, allergic rhinitis and even skin allergies. Presence of dust at home can be very unhealthy. Thus, it is highly recommended to keep our household clean and dust free.

The things that you will need are vacuum cleaner, mild soap, water, sponge, clean cotton cloth, microfiber towel, paint brush or nylon brush and feather duster.

Here are the easy and fast ways in removing dust at home.

• Gather the necessary tools in removing dust particles.
• Put on your mask and rubber gloves. Wear old clothes that you won’t mind throwing it after cleaning.
• Keep in mind to dust systematically. Use a feather duster and clean your furniture first. You can also use a cotton cloth to wipe away dusty furniture.
• Clean your figurines or small decorations using a paint brush or nylon brush.
• Reach on the tables and cabinets. Moisten your clean cloth with water and detergent. Remove excess water and wipe away dirt particles clockwise or counterclockwise.
• Include cleaning hard to reach areas like behind the furniture. Remove cobwebs and dirt particles. Shake your feather duster or cloth to take off dirt and dust.
• Wipe your wall with a cotton cloth. Dip the cotton cloth into your soapy solution and scrub away dirt and dust particles. Rinse with water and sponge and keep it dry by wiping the area with a dry cotton cloth.
• Clean your sofa, other fabric furniture and upholstery with a vacuum cleaner.
• After cleaning the area, hit the floor. Mop your ceramic floor with a mild cleaning solution.
• Allow it to dry by opening your windows. You can also turn on your fan to facilitate dryness.
• After making sure that the entire floor has dried, vacuum the floor and the carpet to remove dust residue.

You can also use a microfiber towel in removing dust. Microfiber cloth is one of the most ideal cleaning tools in removing dust as it can immediately grasp dirt and dust particles without releasing it into the air. It also polishes other household decorations.
