Finally, flowers give a ‘fresher’ look, but change the water at least once every two days. This keeps mosquitoes from laying eggs in the water. You should also keep dust away from the plant with a banana peel. The dust will stick to the skin and the juice from the peel provides nourishment to the leaves.
