Non-toxic Materials for Cleaning

As you may be aware of, there are toxic cleaning products that we use to clean and maintain our home. Many industrial products, famous for their commercials, contain chemicals that are harmful to our health and can pose threat to the health of your kids. With this, we could find and use alternative cleaning materials if possible. And we can use green cleaning products instead.

Green cleaning products are eco-friendly materials that are harmless to our health, and also to our environment’s health.

Window cleaning products are common things that we purchase. And most manufacturers are not required to make a listing of the ingredients on the products’ labels. But still, we should take time to see the ingredients of the product. Do not purchase it if it contains ammonia, chlorine, and other petrochemicals.

For bathroom cleaners, also avoid the products with ammonia or glycol ethers. These chemicals can be dissolved steam from a hot water bath which could create irritating and dangerous vapors. You can make your own green cleaning solution by simply dissolving half cup of borax with one gallon of water.

There are also green versions of detergents, fabric conditioners, and other things. You can take time to search the web for the brands of products that contain no harmful chemicals.
