Duct Cleaning

Remove the duct covers, I take pool noodles and attach my old swifter pads to them with the thick rubber bands. By old swifter pads I mean I wash them when they get dirty and allow them to dry. They are reusable so put as many of the pads on the noodle as you can then just run them into the duct, turn it around in the duct and pull it back to you. It removes dirt, dust etc.. Of course I vacumm out what I can before using the noodle. I have a friend who took my idea and superglued several noodles together, adding duct tape for extra security. I would suggest if you tried this to tie a string tightly around each noodle, one long enough that you could pull the noodle back out if it were to come loose. Tie on the end that would be closest to you otherwise it could jam up in the duct.
